Youlgreave is a quaint little village with a very friendly atmosphere. It has a feeling of being unchanged over centuries.
The dale just below the village is popular with local swimmers, walkers, and leads to many beautiful dog walks in the area.
There are many local farms where you can buy direct - fresh lamb, beef, raw milk, ice cream, and vegetables.
